Outdoor Adventures Sculpture Search at the Nassau County Museum of Art

Open to 4 children

The adventure will begin in the beautiful formal garden. From there, we will follow a map leading to magnificent outdoor sculpture art.


Drop off and pick up will be at the Formal Garden, located just west of the main parking lot.

*Please pack a light snack and water bottle. Have your child wear long pants, high socks, a hat, and a long sleeve shirt.

Train Ride and Picnic at the Clark Botanical Garden

We will meet parents at Roslyn train station at 9: 50- the train leaves at 10:02 to Albertson.


We will stroll through this beautiful garden and have a picnic.

 

Please send in lunch for your child. Parents pick up children at 12:15 at Clark’s Garden.

Long Island Children's Museum

The Long Island Children's Museum offers 14 interactive exhibits plus live theater, art spaces and daily activities to provide hours of discovery for children of all ages.

Cake Decorating at the Co-op

Open to 4-5 children

Children will decorate a pre baked cake with buttercream frosting and fondant accents. They will roll fondant, use fondant cutters and place them on the cake.

Tappan Beach Walk
and Picnic

4:00-6:00pm

Open to 6 children

Enjoy a picnic at Tappen Beach! We will play on the playground, take a beach walk, eat a pizza picnic, and read a story. Pizza will be provided. Children should bring a water bottle.

The winners of this adventure will participate in all our favorite classroom activities...outdoors on our wonderful playground area! We will paint, play, create, and make our own fruit salad snack.
